Delivery and Collection
Delivery Schedule
Our team will deliver the skip to your specified location on the agreed-upon date and time. Please ensure that access to the delivery site is clear and unobstructed to facilitate a smooth drop-off. In case of unforeseen delays due to weather or other factors, we will notify you promptly.
Collection Process
After you have used the skip for waste disposal, please notify us to arrange for collection. Ensure all items are removed from the skip and that it is left in a safe and accessible location. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or penalties.
Usage Guidelines
Permitted and Prohibited Items
It is your responsibility to ensure that only permitted items are placed in the skip. The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, asbestos, batteries, and other dangerous substances cannot be disposed of in our skips.
- Electrical Appliances: Items such as refrigerators, televisions, and other electrical devices are not allowed.
- Flammable Substances: Gasoline, paints, solvents, and other flammable materials are prohibited.
- Medicines and Pharmaceuticals: All types of medications must be disposed of through appropriate channels.
- Valuables: Items of significant monetary or sentimental value should not be placed in the skip.
Placing prohibited items in the skip may result in its immediate removal and additional charges.
Weight Limits
Each skip has a specified weight limit, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking. Exceeding this limit may incur extra charges due to the added weight and potential damage to our fleet. Please adhere to the weight guidelines to avoid unnecessary costs.
Liability and Responsibility
Damage and Loss
While we take utmost care in delivering and collecting skips, we are not liable for any damage or loss resulting from the use of our services, provided that our team has followed standard procedures. It is advisable to ensure that the skip is placed in a suitable location to prevent accidental damage to property or injury.
Insurance
We maintain insurance coverage for our skips during delivery and collection. However, it is your responsibility to secure your property and ensure that the skip is not placed in areas where it may cause harm or obstruction.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Terms
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your skip hire, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking cost.
Extensions to the hire period can be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact our support team to discuss any changes to your booking.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling your skip delivery or collection is possible up to 24 hours before the original appointment. We strive to accommodate your new schedule, but cannot guarantee availability during peak times.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Edmonton.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
